Look no further than Green Meadows Petting Farm in Frederick, MD! This 123 acre petting farm is home to around 300 animals, from miniature horses to llamas…and everything in between!

An animal farm certain is though! Kids love animals. And they’ll get to see and pet plenty of them at Green Meadows. And they love discovering new things or exploring. There is plenty of that at Green Meadows!
What Animals Do They Have at Green Meadows ?
The animal farm has a wide variety of animals, as we mentioned before. They have pigs, cows, horses, sheep, chickens…you name it! And they also have some more interesting animals like llamas, alpacas, and miniature horses.
Activities at Green Meadows
In addition to petting the animals, there are other activities available at Green Meadows Petting Farm. Pony rides, a playground, wagon rides, and you can even feed the animals!
There are pig races, rubber duck races, hayrides, and plenty of other features including a corn crib silo and large slides among a playground. There are also pony rides, wagon, rides, and they give you food to feed the animals included in the price of admission!
Events at Green Meadows
Green Meadows also has a few events throughout the year. They have an Easter egg hunt, fall pumpkin patch festival, and Christmas tree lighting for example.
You can even rent the space for weddings, birthdays, and other events. It’s perfect for large groups, social gatherings, or a school trip.
They have several options for group rentals that include private tents in the summer and your own private stable in the winter.
How Much Does it Cost?
The great thing about Green Meadows petting farm is that they offer an all in one inclusive price with their daily admission ticket.
Single Daily Admission Ticket: 16 dollars
This includes not only admission but all the other activities that are on offer…including hay rides and use of the various playgrounds!
Private Events: starting at 395 dollars including 30 guests
Anual Passes: 95 or 85 dollars
Children Younger Than 23 Months: FREE
What are the Hours?
Admission hours are between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. The farm closes at 4:30 pm.
